We will be attending the ‘Scrap The Northern Ireland Protocol’ protest and parade on Saturday 9th October in central London. This is a family-friendly event where everyone is welcome.
When over 17.4 Million of us voted to leave the European Union, we voted for the entire United Kingdom to leave. However, the people of Northern Ireland have been badly let down by Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal with the EU. The deal effectively leaves Northern Ireland stuck in the EU “single market” for goods, with a customs border in the Irish Sea. This is unacceptable and must be reversed for the democratic Brexit referendum result to be fully carried through.
We demand BREXIT FOR ALL OF THE UK, WITH NO INTERNAL BORDER!
The protocol must be replaced by arrangements that respect Northern Ireland’s position as an integral part of the United Kingdom.
To mark the importance of this issue for the United Kingdom, the Imperial Corps of Drums Flute Band from Liverpool will be in attendance, playing some patriotic music. The parade starts at Trafalgar Square and will stop at the Cenotaph before heading back up to Trafalgar Square, also handing in a protest letter to 10 Downing Street.
Join us in London on Saturday 9th October and send a clear message to the government.
Scrap the Northern Ireland Protocol!
